 This appointment is for a one-on-one session with Sarah to review and discuss current or proposed vendor relationships, including technology platforms, AI tools, consulting contracts, or major software investments. The session is designed to help leadership evaluate vendor claims, identify red flags, and determine whether the proposed solution—and its pricing—actually aligns with your organization’s needs, governance standards, and risk tolerance.

This often includes a review of Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and proposal materials to assess whether the vendor is over-scoping, overpromising, or quietly bundling deliverables they may not be able to execute. Many clients use this session as a critical third-party checkpoint before committing to high-dollar contracts or complex technical implementations.

Each intake appointment is held individually with the executive or leadership representative requesting the consultation. As a baseline, we will do one additional session scheduled 1-3 weeks after the intake to go over anything that required more information and to discuss additional questions that may have come up as a result of the intake. Additional sessions or advisory services may be recommended depending on the complexity of your vendor landscape. Pricing for further engagements will be discussed following the intake.

This intake is appropriate for organizations evaluating third-party vendors, AI platforms, managed service providers, or technology consultants. If you are also seeking executive-level data leadership across internal strategy, governance, and oversight, you may wish to book a combined CDO and vendor risk intake.

Once the requested appointment is approved, you will be required to pay the appointment fee within 24 hours to secure your appointment. Your appointment may be cancelled if payment is not made. Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a $200 cancellation fee. (Cancellation penalties may be hired in the case of work done ahead of time to access and asses  vendor contracts or procurement documentation.)
